Although taken from my car, I angled my car to get the foal peeking between the other two Zebra's. Taken in a nature reserve close to my house last weekend.

Still good detail here considering the light direction Stuart, just needed for the closest Zebra (stallion?) to shift it's backside around for a nice lineup.:D
I like your thought process here.

    Hi Stuart,
I pretty much agree with Marc here. Interesting to see the darker whites (thinner stripes) on the face of the baby. Is this something common with the young ones?

    Stuart,

Zebras are probably one of the most "awkward" animals to capture in groups as there is always one just in the way or at the wrong angle. You have tried one of the most difficult shots here and almost pulled it off, as Marc said the angle of the nearest Zebra, spoils what is nearly the perfect capture.
Nevertheless it is a fine image.

A difficult image to pull off for sure. I keep thinking if only the foals head was really sharp with the adults blurring fore and aft might have made this work better also. Like the thought process.

Nice job capturing these most beautiful creatures. Such a challenge they are to get lined up! Very nice positioning with the foal peeking out.

Thanks a stack guys. I agree the angle of light wasnt ideal. When I moved to have the light behind me, these guys werent in the best position for a decent shot.
