Congratulations Andrew Merwin for your image "Grizzly Sow" being chosen as the Wildlife Image of the Week for the week ending 11/12/2010!!!

    1. I shot this in the Hayden Valley, YNP last month. She & her 2 cubs were foraging in a meadow. All 3 bears kept moving toward me & I was backing up to maintain my distance from them. I cropped the image to improve ROT, sharpened it, & made minor adjustments in curves. I also lightened her left leg. I know, I should have been @ ISO 400. Also, I am up against the LHS with this crop.

    Tripod, Mkr IV, ISO 100, f/5.6, 1/640, +0.33, 700mm
