Great landing pose Bill, and a good show of the full wing span. Nice and sharp too.

    Bill,

This is my favorite shot of the evening so far. The way the gull is situated in the frame is awesome and the bokeh has a layered effect that makes this one even better. The coolest thing about the image is that there appears to be an effect over the wings that reminds me of a contrail on a jet....very subtle. As I always say on ring-bills, they just have killer eyes that work perfectly with autofocus systems on camera lenses. It's too bad you aren't getting more comments on this one because it is a killer shot as guruji likes to say. Thanks.

Man, I'm glad I didn't just sit and watch "Two and a Half Men" tonight.

RBGs...the best practice subjects for sure!!

Nice pose and comp. Sharp and beautifully exposed. I kinda wish the underside was better lit though (ā la fill flash), but still a very nice image.
