Too Late for Harshad?

Another from my tidy up of ancient images.

The only Leopard that I have ever seen with a "name", but then I do not often go to places that feel the need to give animals pet names.

This is "Amber" and was taken when we took my sister in law and husband on safari as a birthday treat, to Zibilianja.

25th October 2003 at sunset, hence strange light not colour cast.

This is a beautiful shot Ken. Nice light and detail on the leopard and a complimentary colored BG. Might only warm up the whites a bit as they seem a touch on the blue side to me.

Lovely portrait here Ken, with good light and detail.
Took the liberty of trying a Luminosity mask (Robert A's tip) + slight contrast boost here, for a bit more punch, let me know what you think?

Ken, lovely soft light, and I like the detail and colours. I do enjoy that complimentary BG too. Marc's repost does add more colour, but only you know which was how you saw it. Great sighting BTW.

An addition from Marc for later versions of PS in making the selection using the Channels Palette: On the RGB channel, use Cntrl+2, instead of Cntrl+Alt+2

I am now making the selection by: CTRL + Click left mouse key.

I have been meaning to get this into the Educational Forum on BPN.
