Default Early AM Photographer Redwood NP

This is my wife Gail making a photograph in Redwood NP early in November. The early morning light on the trail was special. This image captures the mood of the entire forest. The inclusion of the photographer gives a sense of scale/

1DMK4 with 17-40 @ 40mm. Evaluative metering, ISO 200 F 16 1 sec. This is full frame with very minor PS adjustments.
Thanks for looking. C&C most welcome.

I like it. I would have opted for a crop that places the photographer in the lower right 1/3rd intersection. Also a little burning of the edges.

But otherwise, I love the perspective of scale here.

Hi Ed, Nice lighting showing the early rays of light breaking through the forest. I also like the foreground ferns on the left and path on the right. The size of the redwood on the right compared to Gail gives the image alot of interest. There are 2 hot areas on the rt(one on top of the fern and the other on the thin tree) I would take out if this were mine... I like the feel of this one!!

Hi Ed, I too like how you used Gail to give this image a sense of scale. Agree with Dave on the bright spots.
