    Hi Kiran,

You and your Mark IV make a lethal combination. Looks like this fierce beauty just landed on the thorny perch. Intense eye contact, great talon in the thorns and buttery bokeh....all at ISO 800. I think your comp is dead on as well. Sweet.

Just gorgeous!! Sharp as a tack and contrasted by the wonderfully smooth, colorful background. If I were to pick nits, personally I would prefer a bit more saturation in the yellow parts of the bird.

    I love it!

Kiran, terrific IQ as usual...and awesome pose. Signature eye-level shooting angle that you always manage to get...perfect timing too.

    Kiran:

Excellent timing, sharp, well exposed, great eye contact, BG.

Perch is interesting without overpowering the bird. In a perfect world, would wish the stick didn't cover part of the leg, but really fine as is.

    Cheers

Fantastic pose and sharpness. I find the DOF quite remarkable for 700 mm and F4... Where you far away and this is a significant crop? JR

As noted above, killer on all counts. The large o-o-f stick in front of the bird's left leg is most unfortunate.... I love the lean.
