I have been trying for ages to get a reasonable image of this little lad, and then the leaves on our orange tree get in the way, oh well.

Taken in our back garden this morning.

Wow amazing birds you have in your garden! Great action shot, leaves a little hot but can be remedied.

Like the expression on the male wydah's face! Perhaps a little bit of room on the left would have made it even better. Great moment well captured:)

Ken, I know too well how difficult these Whydah's are to capture in flight due to their erratic flying pattern. You have done well here, and like the 'kamakaze' dive from the whydah. Glad you managed to get all the tail in.:)

Well done Ken, agree with Stuart, we have one of these flitting about over the past few years and I have yet to get a decent image. Agree with a little more room on the left and maybe below.

    Thanks for your comments.

Unfortunately there is no more room on the left, it was only an accident that I found it in this position in the first place, it is almost impossible to predict where they will go next:)

Just keep on trying, you may end up being lucky like me.
