After seeing Denise's blur shots I was inspired to try. Here is a tall stand of feathery grasses at the Bosque del Apache. Plenty of spot removal in PP (must get sensor cleaned!!:o) C&C welcome...

Kristin, a warm welcome to OOTB! This is an excellent blur. I like the graduated colors and the streaks of those grasses merging into the sky. Beautifully done. TFS and hope to see you post here more often.

Kristen, Wow! This is an excellent blur - just the right amount! The colors complement each other nicely and I like the gradation from darker to lighter on the grasses.

    Hey Kristen,
You did very well wit hyour first attempt! You chose some nice color contrasts. I generally like bolder presentations but this works very well and glad to see you trying these as they can be a whole lot of fun!

Kristin, looks like your first attempt is a winner. Very nicely done! I love the tones of the grasses and excellent choice to see this shot in the vertical orientation.

Kristin, Beautiful pan blur. I like the amount of blur and that you kept the sky in. I think it is an important part of the image. Well done and big welcome to OOTB!!

It's beautiful Kristin! I wouldn't mind seeing a touch more yellow in the grasses but it's lovely as presented. Very nice work!

Great job blurring these grasses. It's fun to experiment. I would prefer adding some contrast and saturation, but nice as it is.

Kristin, welcome to OOTB! I love the blur - just the right amount and I like the neutral browns against the sky. How lucky to live in Albuquerque:)
