The last time I posted a gray squirrel it started Squirrel-a-Palooza and it was pretty fun. I thought I'd go in tight on this one....something I've been doing with alot of images lately for some reason. The nose found its way out of the focus plane but I didn't have enough SS to tighten down the f-stop.

Nice sharp portrait of this little guy Danny. Love the bg, exposure and colors look good. You're on a roll with the little critters.

Can't fault the detail & pose here Danny, colours again are perfect. The greys over here are classified to a lot of people as vermin, the Reds are far more popular and photogenic.

If you have any more room on the lhs would like to see some, just a whisker to tight for me. :D

Yes, I did crowd that whisker a bit and definitely have more room. Sometimes after I work an image up in DPP and then convert it from RAW and then into PS for resizing (by the way I loved your resizing sticky for CS4) and my signature, I look at it and say, "Man that whisker is crowded but I'm too lazy to go back and start over." I need to watch that.:)

Amazing detail and the background colors really compliment the colors in the squirrel.

    Hey Danny,
I like your comp here. The detail, BG color, and position of his paws all add to the image. Nice job.
