    Hi Tim,

    Must be mallard day as I just commented on Randy's mallard. I also spent the morning with a bunch of mallards along the Mississippi River. I love this image as it reminds me of a high end greeting card. The black background makes it somewhat surreal but unique. The way you bring out the color and feather intricacies is quite dazzling in this image. Droplets work well here, too and I like the tight comp. Nice.

    Tim,
    This is a wonderful image. I love the serene feeling of the well exposed and detailed bird with the dark background. The water dripping from the beak is just a super bonus! Congratulations!

    I like the dark water and the mirror-like reflection. Sharpness is good. I think some CCW rotation would help, and I might clean up the water around the beak a little.
