A couple a weekends ago I went out with my small inflatable fishing boat (The Calyspo) to a marshy pond to try my luck. Connecticut can be beautiful in the Fall! I got too close waiting for the take off, so I quickly changed the lens to the good old 400 5.6L . All comments greatly appreciated!

    Hey Robin, welcome to BPN!!

Lovely image to start with! Nice exposure, colors, and sharpness. The composition is good but a little tight IMO. There is evidence of some post-processing work on the bottom and right sides.

    Looking forward to more!

Strong image, great contrast, super colour, only nit is a little tight in my opinion.
    Nice one

Little tight for me too, but looking good. Ideally the bird would be parallel to the sensor plane an not flying away. Still well done and I look forward to more images from CT. :)

A little too tight for me as well, but the bird stands out quite well against the contrasting BG. Lovely freeze here.
