When things are slow at the beach, you can always rely on the curlews :). I was lucky that the waves were far enough away so that they weren't distracting.

How do you know it's simple :), sweet pastel colours, love the yellow on blues, my only nit is the bird looks a bit flat.

Lovely clean image. Nice colors, beautiful bird and nice job getting that low angle. Very well done, Aidan.

I love this bird and I love this image, especially the fact that the quasi-high key processing reveals so much feather detail. And I like the pose and the waves too. And the low angle.

Aidan, love the low angle and colors in this one. The HA & BG are also very pleasing.

Aidan, a very pleasing shot. Perfect angle, habitat, details, light and HA. Really really loved it. If Curlews is what you 'rely' on, you live in a very envious place, my friend.
