When things are slow at the beach, you can always rely on the curlews :). I was lucky that the waves were far enough away so that they weren't distracting.

I love this bird and I love this image, especially the fact that the quasi-high key processing reveals so much feather detail. And I like the pose and the waves too. And the low angle.
