    Default Moment of grace

Hi All, Captured this yesterday during an early morning visit to Gatorland. I waited some time for this wing lift, which I expected might happen as the Egret preened. Happily, the moment came to pass. Cheers, Jack

Nice one Jack! The exposure on the whites is spot on. Knowing your bird's behaviour is often key to succesful images - just as you've done here. :-)

Very beautiful detail. The whites are perfectly exposed.

Good behavior image. I really like the soft light.

The exposure is good, but the egret looks a little dull and gray overall to me, I think lighting the wings and breast up while protecting the highlights would make the image more applealing. There is a slight blue cast also.

Hope you dont mind the repost Jack.

The repost looks even better. I might clean the perch a bit. :)

Very nice image Jack. I love the details on the wing. Composition is excellent.
