    This female had the only cub at the creek and was ever watchful for the two boars that also fished here.
    D300, 400 2.8, 1/250, f3.5, iso 800, man exp.

    Love the possessive stance with that huge paw resting on the salmon. The BG bear adds to the overall mood, would like to have seen just a little more of it.

    Love the claws on top of the fish. You did a good job of capturing her pensiveness. Possible to crop out the bear up top?

    Thanks guys for the comments. The bear in the bg is her cub, no more of him in this frame, it would be pretty easy to remove him but I kinda like him left in. Thanks again
