    taken this morning on joe overstreet road. skimmers, ospreys, snail kites, eagles, sandhills, gbh's, and one whooping crane way off in the distance were at the boat ramp.

    nikon d300, sigma 50-500 at 500mm, f/6.3, 1/1600s, 0EV, ISO 400, no flash, mounted on a manfrotto window pod.

    Great singing pose and BG. Exposure of the blacks and yellows looks good, too.

    Sounds like you had a grand day on Joe Overstreet. A wonderful classic Meadowlark singing. I love the simplicity and especially that BG. Well done.

    This is very nice. I found it tough to get an image with this sharpness with the Bigma wide open. Nice.
