I did a lot of post processing: s/h, and cleaning up BG. I'd like some feedback. Is it too saturated? Was it even worth it? Thanks in advance

Yes, I think it's a bit over saturated. The bg isn't bad as far as clean goes, seems (for me) like the bg color and the bird color clash a bit? Not sure if its the pp or the shot, but also seems unsharp. (That could be from shrinking the file though) A bit more canvas at the top would work for me too.
This is a little tight for my taste and I wish the light had been better. It is not easy to get these guys out in the open if you keep working them I am sure you can get one were all the elements come together.

Well, to tell the truth I can see where the cloning work was done (ULC near wingtip, and below the tail for example) and that is what you want to avoid when doing this type of touching up. What you do have going for you in this image is the great view of the huge feet!
