    It's lovely, Gus! I never tire of seeing the visitors to your garden. I also think he's a bit too centered - maybe a bit off the right side since he's looking left. Otherwise, a remarkable image!

    Gus, You aren't boring me. I love these. I think Jules makes a good suggestion regarding the crop. I might tone down the perch on the right a bit. Nice work as usual!:)

    Gus, I rather like the just off-centre composition here ... did you paint this with oils or is it a photograph that has been filtered etc!?

    Hi Amano;

    This was done digitally from a photo taken from my garden. I use a free program called Fotosketcher and do finishing using CS5. Some of the finishing is descibed at the head of this Forum and other posts.

    It's a lot of fun pushing the envelope for OOTB forum
