Inside Orchid arrangement, at the local Missouri Botanical Gardens. I was able to grab this image before being busted by the tripod police. Extensive PP, more than I can remember, just curious if the effect works out ok.............

I love the burst of pink-lavender with yellow highlights! I don't mind the cut off petals on the edges, nor the overlap. I like it a lot. It is a happy image.

I think it's beautiful as well. The yellows might be a tiny bit over saturated but I say go for it! I'm going to need you to re-show this image come late February to give me hope that spring is on the way... :)

Hi Jay, I love shooting orchids, they produce the most beautiful blossoms. I like how this image turned out. Good you got the shot before the "tripod police" came along.

Jay, I love the yellow glowing from the orchids. Nicely done, I like everything about it.

Lovely colors, Jay. The yellows do look overly bright but I like them that way. :)

It looks like I'm in the minority but I'd like it if the petals weren't clipped.

    Hey Ken,

I've gone back and forth on the leaf clipping, and still am. I do have the original canvass to eliminate the clipping..............the yellows were glowed intentionally, but I'm not still committed to that either. Your feedback will help get me off the fence. Thanks.

Jay, I like it very much. The lighting and the colors works well here. I do not mind the clipping that much as the focus is on the bright yellows and the beautiful soft light.

Beautiful flowers, Jay. :) Love the colors...the yellow centers really pop! Personally I'm with Ken on not clipping the petals. Well done!
