    I had to crop this one a lot. Wishing for an 800mm lense. Canon 1D Mark IV, 500 F4L Is, 1.4 teleconverter, Iso800, 1/1250 sec F5.6 Manual Mode

    Really like this pose, not seen very often. Handles the whites well! Wishing for a 800 also:D

    Hi Layton,

    A magnificent eagle pose but as you say, the cropping artifacts are sneaking through. The old saying, "No lens is ever long enough," continues to haunt wildlife photographers. By the way, the wings look amazing on this shot as they seem impossibly long!

    The pose and the compositions are excelente, but I thing a litle more DOF would be even better...

    Minor flaws as others have pointed out, but I would be proud to have this image! Love the pose and dramatic lighting. A keeper indeed.
