    Wow!
    Very nice image. You have managed the exposure very well to keep the detals in the highlight and shadow area. The BG is nice too.
    Have you considered cropping a bit more off the left of the frame, to bring the eye of the Redhead at the upper right third of the image?

    Good EXP and SHARP but lens needed to be pointed to the left and bird needed to turn its head towards you.

    Great image, i like woodpeckers and its very difficult to make good images of this kind of birds, I'm living in the country,where most of woodpeckers in Europe are wide spread...so i hope to show images of most European woodpeckers soon, Best regards, Boris
