Nice lookback pose and low angle. It needs a CCW rotation.

Nice low angle, Beautiful neck, I am wondering if a f/7.1 would bring the rump in focus also? TFS

    Humberto,

I love the scruffy little rumps on these grebes....so sweet. You captured the face area beautifully and the color of the neck reflecting in the sun is very nice. I've been trying to get a nice grebe shot like this for a while but they just don't get close enough. Thanks.

    Hi Gary,
Yes, a f/7.1 or f/8 would be better, but the Grebe was in the shadow, and I had to put an 800 ISO and a f/6.3, suddenly he went to a sunny zone and I had no time to change settings...

A very nice shot! I agree on the comments about a smaller aperture.
    Regards
    Andreas.
