What a way to fritter away a morning. :p

    Here's what I did:
Several flips and moves to construct eyebrows and mouth.
Spherize to get rounded, fishy look to face.
    Boost to Saturation and Vibrance
Added layer below, expanded canvas and filled with a pattern created using the iris of the eye.
Opened in Fotosketcher and did an oil sketch and a frame.

I love it Patti! You say it all so "matter-of-factly" but this is excellent work. Re-using elements of the image in the background is very artistic. Good show!

Thanks all. I appreciate the comments. Kerry, creating the pattern was new for me. I had never done that before. I wanted a background that would bring out the eye color, but the plain blue just wasn't what I wanted. I wanted to use the pattern of colors in the eye. I googled it and found that the Pattern Maker that was in CS3 is no longer in CS4 or CS5, but Adobe has a plug-in for both CS4 and 5 that has the discontinued filters. So, I loaded it up and made the pattern. Cool to learn something new.

Here's where I found out about how to use Pattern Maker and here is where I found the plug-in. I just selected a small portion of the eye and tweaked the settings until it was a nice smooth pattern. There might be an easier way to do this? I thought the Pattern Maker was pretty easy, but I don't know how good it is for making seamless patterns when the pattern selection area has lines or other elements that are difficult to match up. I will play with it some more.

This is a crop of the area before I blended in the edges and before I put it through Fotosketcher.
