Superb .. one of those near perfect images .. like the soft focus surround!

It's still mighty good Sid considering the crop. What camera body do you use?
I like the fact the foreground slightly obscures the lower bird. :) Congrats mate! :)

Agree with both of the above. Nicely framed too with the not quite square format, perfect amount of FG in my opinion.:)

Hi Sid, Hold up nicely considering the crop, love the pose and HA of both birds and nice PS work evening out the tonalities thru out the image. I can not wait to shoot the colony again this coming year.

Sid, it wud be extremely hard to pick 'top 10' of your shots, but I think this will be there. Stunning, to say the least. View of all three eyes, opposing poses, low angle, DOF....man...you really nailed this one.

I like the comp, poses and exposure, and good to see the courting gift. I would sharpen the two terns a touch more.

Hi, Sid. I do like the composition you chose as well, and the image held up quite well for the substantial crop. Good choice on the settings, and the exposure looks right on.

    Sid,

A striking image that has a professional quality that is hard to explain. The composition is unique even though we've seen many shots of this same activity. Beautiful work with light and subtle color here. Nice one.
