    Hey James,

This bird is all neck, my friend. I'm a big fan of shovelers so this one really turns me on. Nice handling of the iridescence as it can get out of control quick on an image of these guys. Lovely slate blue to light blue on the wings and the feet really pop as well. The background evokes motion and your 7.1 aperture allowed you to really cover the this pig from front to back. Sweeeeettt!!

    Wow!
Even were able to get the male...
Lovely bird and wing pose. I rarely see such nice colors on the individuals we have in my beloved CR, may be I just have to be a better observer. That light is something else. Great job presenting this one James!

James, your duck-in-flight shots are some of the best that I have seen. Stunning, this one is. Perfect angle, DOF, expose and wing pose. These guys are hard to catch...so fast they are. well done.

Tack sharp Jim, and you have captured a great flying posture. You have exposed the colours very well, and I like how the wings compliment the BG.

Beautiful work as always Jim. I just love this image. I know how hard this duck is to capture!

    James,
your really seem to be an expert for flight shots of ducks! Another superb example, although I prefer wings up.
