    Nonnie,

    I think you cut the adult in a good spot and left the right amount of room in front of the calf.

    Nonnie, I agree with Robert regarding the cut-off of mom and overall composition. Soft light helped pop the colours here. We don't see Indian Ellies too often on the forum so this is a welcome post. I like how the calf is scruffy - our African elephants aren't like that. I wish the OOF vegetation on the top left wasn't there.

    Hi Nonnie, this is a nice post to see. I like the texture on the adult elephant, and the richness of the colours in this picture, has a nice 'jungle' feel to it for me. Also like your framing of the subject, in what looks as if it wasn't a sighting that gave you a lot of time to compose. Raised foot of adult, as well as the water splashing around the feet of the calf are nice details. Agree with Morkel re the OOF vegetation but a good capture..
