    Default Hyaenas

Came across this group of hyaenas crossing Liuwa Plain in late morning. Left a good bit of the foreground in for depth, but might be too much.

Agree with Harshad here, it just is not working for me either. Not enough detail in the hyenas? Maybe with them walking away and could see a distant destination, I'm not sure.

    Egil,

I would crop this with less of the FG. That much will hold the attention of the viewer too long. If they were walking parallel to the camera this would have worked well. Because they are small in the frame, you are at a low vantage and lacking detail in the animal, walking away from you does not work here.

Under certain circumstances, a group walking away can work if the viewer can see where they are going and the animals are more detailed.
