Thought i would share this one with you guys, & was one of the images i used in a live interview in London & was a much liked & talked about photo, he is 1 of 5 brothers that roam the Masai Mara as they wish, usally out of view by the time the good light appears but on this day no cars around so he was happy stay out for a while i think it shows the Aura of a impressive male in his prime.

Killer image with a primordial feel. It exudes a raw sense of power and confidence. There is a lot to like here, from the visible vapor of his breath, rim lighting, and the color palette. Excellent work, Ken!

Ken - I agree with John and Peter, excellent image with a great feel. Seeing the lion's breath really makes the image for me.

Outstanding and very different. Love the rim light, colors and his breath. Pano crop shows him off well.

Very dramatic lighting and the breath really adds to the image.

Well, some absolutely fantastic lion images posted while I was off doing other things. This is gorgeous. It has all been said previously but light, composition and breath all coming together. Wonderful photo.

Nothing much more to add on what's already been said Ken, a very evocative image.
