    Default Mid-morning Gator.

Alligators are common where I shoot and this is one I got a while back. I cropped and messed with the levels and curves until it was this color and saved it. This is the BG on my computer screen :D

Interesting composition, Jim. If not for the eye, I would think this of an rock or island in Mars! I can appreciate it the longer I look at it. Good thinking.

I like the colors, especially of the water. If you hadn't told me it was a gator, I wouldn't have known--maybe a bit too abstract for me.

Funny.....at first I thought you were doing a re-create of the big eye in the contest. Interesting gater, though.

Hey Jim, this gator has an interesting aura... Good use of adjustment layers. I would be tempted to crop a little from the bottom, so there is more room on top.

I think its cool. The backbone ridge, popping out of the water, makes this for me......................agree with Kerry on the crop................

Very cool Jim! Looks like the creature from the red lagoon to steal a phrase.
