Very nice taking off pose, great detail on the wings and nice BG. Well done, Kiran.
I like this very much. Great exposure and detail, nice background colors. I would give some more space in front of the bird and just a tad more space behind.
I like the detail, sharpness, exposure and BG. A real beauty Kiran!
Kiran, this kestrel does give you lot of opportunities for sure...and u make the most out of it. Awesome details, pose and composition. TFS.
Love the BG and the compositions as well, amazing picture with lots of details.
Comp, color, exposure and detail all look great. Very well done.

I'll bet it felt really good when she took off towards you in such nice light! I'm curious why you chose f/4 here; was it for shutter speed or DOF? Stunning image BTW!

Superb image, Kiran! Techs are spot on, BG is beautiful and the pose is captured perfectly.
I like the comp as is, but wouldn't mind seeing one with a bit more room all around.

You have nailed another excellent image of this species Kiran. Light, colour, exposure , sharpness and eye contact all excellent - very inspirational.
Kiran, this is a great image. Love the pose and eye contact.
Fab pose Kiran Bhai! Love the light and feather detail. I'd like a bit more room too! :) Well done. :)
Thank you all dear friends for your kind word and valuable suggestions. really appreciate it.
surely will post one with more space around.
thanks Doug Bhai, I had set up for a SS of about 2500 when there was cloud cover, but when it took off the sun was shining. it was basically for better SS.
thanks again,regards,
Kiran.
Excellent timing, DOF, pose and BG - nice one! :)
Very nicely done! I suspect you waited patiently for some time for the kestrel to fly toward you. F/4 got you the SS you needed, and I don't see any DOF problems at all; the kestrel is sharp all around. You may wish to tell the story of the bird's right-upward movement by leaving more room to the right and above.
