Help needed for Giant Castle and Sabi Sands

I am planning to visit Giant Castle and Sabi Sands trip.
Can anybody provide me following info

1) Which is best time for Giant Castle
2) How many days we should plan in Giant castle ?
3) How many days for Sabi Sands ?

Hi Harshad.
I have found May/June to be the best time for Giants.
I think you may now struggle to get a booking.
You need to allow 3 full days in the hide.
It is best not to have more than 3 togs in the hide at a time.

Hi Harshad, I havent been to Giants Castle yet, but Dave has, so his info would be correct. With regards to Sabi Sands, there are a lot of different camps in different areas. All very exclusive and you will go out and almost guarantee get leopard sightings up close and personal. We went at the end of August, out of winter, so not so cold on the early morning drives ,or night drives. Also not quite the rainy season, so you wont get wet. Good luck. Hope I am not too late to reply Harshad.

I would recommend a minimum of three days in the Giant's Castle hide. Any time from June to September is good. The weather is cold (very cold, so take warm clothes) - but dry, bright and sunny. Best to have a 4 wheel drive to reach the bearded vulture hide. This time of year is also great for Sabi Sands where you need a minimum of three nights, preferably longer depending on your main target species. Sabi Sands is best for leopards (bring telephoto flash for night drives) - so keep on at the rangers to make sure you take full advantage of the fabulous leopard watching available there. Let me know if you want any recommendations on Sabi Sand lodges.
