Hi commonjunks. I'm sorry I had to delete several of your threads. As a forum participant you are allowed to start a thread every 48 hours in any one forum. You should only post one image per thread. Reposts and full frame versions of your image are exceptions to this rule. Also, we like people to use their real names on BPN. We can change that for you; just let us know what your name is.

Now that I've taken care of the rules, let's focus on this image. You've got a nice pose, good DOF, excellent sharpness, and good iridescence. The light looks a little strong but you handled it well for the most part. I might tone down the bright parts of the perch. I'd also think about removing the bit of flower on the left side of the perch. Thanks for posting, and look forward to seeing more of your images. :)
