Captured this bighorn near Georgetown, Colorado. Like when the males perform this low-stretch behavior. Thanks for looking.

    Hi Dan,

Nice behavioral shot and sharp and realistic as are all of your bighorn shots. This dude's horns appear to be in pretty good shape. I like the way his eye looks a little crazy in this stretching pose. I would consider cropping a bit from the right just to add a bit more balance and still maintain the habitat.

Dan I think this is my favourite image of the two, purely because of 'that' look, great angle & POV.

The detail overall is spot on, but within the horn it's just perfect. The BG works well and really does 'separate' the two. I'm now reflection on why I sold my two MKIIs ;)

love the pose, soft light and details Dan. I would consider cropping slightly from the bottom to get rid of the piece of "leg"?

Thanks for the comments. Steve, I really do like my Mark 2. It is a refurbished body and it has not given me any problems at all. Would like to look for a used Mark 3.

Morkel, I thought about cropping from the bottom, but thought it might get a little to close to the horn.

The pose tells the story here. It is obvious that this ram is in rut. Great detail & sharpness; especially the horns. I really like the eye. The first time I saw a rectangular pupil, I thought there was something wrong with the sheep's eye.

Very nice image Dan. Agree wiht you on the bottom crop. Those horns need space at the bottom.

Great details and pose. I too would not take from below for reasons mentioned. Got to shoot some rams here in WA a couple of weeks back just starting to rut. Well done.

Nice pose, detail, color, and BG. I like how you still get a sense of eye contact even with this extreme head tilt.

Excellent, and unusual perspective, Dan. The elements in the comp are balanced and compliment each other nicely. Has a feel of strength and power.
