I loved not only the colors in this one but the evidence of surface tension - not sure what was creating it but it was sure fun to photograph. This was taken a week or two ago at a nearby pond that had trees near the water's edge.

Same pp as I usually do...curves or exposure adjustment to pop the light and dark tones and then a surface blur/sharpening at the end.

Beautiful abstract, Julie. Love the color and the glass like effect. Nice title! TFS.

Love these colors and features Jules. The fall colors of the trees and the blue of the sky with those interesting water "pinches" make for a super image.

Gosh, Jules, this is gorgeous! Fantastic colors and shapes and curves. The water just glows. My eye keeps getting drawn to the center "pinch" at lower left side. Perhaps that is what you intended, but I felt it a bit distracting. Maybe lightening that area just a bit? Wonderful image.

The pinched area is out of this world! Great look.

Good catch, Anita...I'll do that so the eye stays more between the two pinches. Thanks everyone...I really love this one as well.

Hey Jules, this one came out really nice! Those 'pinches' are odd but that what makes this image special.

After spending time shooting leaves floating on one of my ponds, I realized that many of the shots were of cool looking water with a darn leaf spoiling the image! :D
