Question for the HAP........How exactly do you tell 2 degrees?..........is it in PS or just from experience. I tend to not have a problem with profile pictures .......while I do agree with the HAP about the subject looking away.
As always, comments welcomed and appreciated,

Profile pictures are fine, it's just the slightly looking away ones that suffer from breaking the HAP "law" :-) This comes from experience. I don't know how many times I've witheld pressing the shutter button because of this (although a bird looking away is OK for adjusting histogram to get ready for better pose to come ) I personally do prefer slightly looking towards the camera. The head angle here is fine, but I find the crop too tight.

Nice details and pose! I find it too tight in the frame and there are S/H and sharpening halos visible. Softer light would have helped.
