Hi, my name is Kerrigan Evans, but you can call me Kerro, and I live in Mandurah, Western Australia.
I am a Mine worker in the NW of WA.
I have only recently decided to go all out with my photography and enjoy all sorts of picture taking. Birding seems to be the pix I get most of.
I look forward to learning to take better photos from this site and if I can contribute in any way, I would like that too.

    cheers

    Kerro

    Kerro:

Again, a big welcome to BPN. Sounds like you have jumped into photography with both feet, based on the gear you are starting with.

Look forward to more posts in Avian. Be sure to check out the other forums, such as eager to learn, wildlife, macro and out of the box. All have great images, lots of helpful advice, and inspiration!

    Cheers

    Randy

Welcome to BPN, Kerro! There are a good number of Aussies who hang out here so keep your eyes open...you might one day find yourself standing next to one of them!

Be sure to check out ALL the forums - there is so much you can learn here from people that have "been there/done that". We encourage you to critique more than you post - that is one of the best ways to learn nature photography.

    G'Day!

We just might meet in a couple of years, or perhaps sooner. We live full-time in a caravan; currently on the Gold Coast. We have our second off-road van, a Bushtracker, under construction for delivery in June.

Stay safe in the mines and keep on shootin'.
    Cheers, Jay
