    I played around a little bit this afternoon with a backyard set up. (not my forte). Light was poor, as my settings reflect, but this fellow was cooperative.

    Canon mk4, 500 f4 + 1.4tc + tripod
    ISO 1600, f 5.6, 1/250

    I like the image and it's great detail and color. I might take a little off the bottom.

    Good job getting this Downy - they are really shy in my part of town and I've tried for some time to catch one of these guys. Nice background and I wonder whats sticking up on his beak.
