    Default Common Tern

    Hi

We get a few of these bird locally during the summer, which tend to feed along a small channel as the tide ebbs.

    Taken with 1Dmk3 at F5 ISO250 and 1/4000s

    Cheers

    Rich

Nice wing position, eye contact and BG. My only wish is that there were no shadow on the underside of the bird's right wing. Maybe you could lighten it a bit.

Nice eye and BG. The shadow is what it is.

A beauty! I find the whites underneath the eye bordering on hot. Something just a little brighter than what you have on the rump would be great for that area, but very pleasing image!
