    Well I have finally succumbed to the group "How low can you go" Apologies to Chubby Checker !!!
    Feel quite comfortable about getting down low but OF foreground is tricky.
    Should be a mini-deckchair for bird photographers to get best captures.
    Commonly called V.O.C. in New Zealand these birds were quite uncommon 20 years ago but large numbers can now be seen.
    Pentax K10D, mid morning, multi segment, AV RAW.

    Nice striding pose. Some positive EC or fill flash would have helped to get more details in the plumage. I would go for a tighter crop.
