    Rams stick out their tonguges to gather air to determine a ewe’s rediness for mating. Ewes also do it and according to YNP visitor services ewes may be determining the “most manly of the men.” As you can see from the horns, this ram is small & probably failed the ewe’s “most-manly-of-the-men” test.

    Excellent behavior, details and exposure. The ewe is a bit close to the top of the frame.
