This image is of a Milkweed plant taken at Horicon NWR in Wisconsin, on our recent trip home.

Modifications in CS4 included; Desaturate in RAW Processing, B&W Adjustment, Curves, DAP Aquarell, Sepia Tint, Diffused Glass and other normal PS image adjustments.

I’ve never tried DAP for B&W, but wanted to see the effect.

    Enjoy!

Well done, Mark, it turned out a thing of beauty, sort of mysterious.

Very nice composition, Mark. I like the DAP effect here. Nice framing too. I would have kept the leaves on the left intact, if it were mine. TFS.

Very cool, Mark. I wish the milkweed part in the center (the fluff) had a tiny bit more detail to it but overall I really like the image. Lovely toning and nice textures to keep the eye moving.
