    Gorgeous Portrait!!! I love the open bill and excellent detail that bg really goes nicely with this bird.

    Kristin, excellent feather detail, and well timed to capture the open beak. I like how we can see a hint of the tongue, and what a lovely complimentary BG.

    Hi Kristan, Love the pose and wonderful detail, only suggestion would be to selectively sharpen the eye.

    Do I see a faint splotch of dust northwest of the head? Very minor problem. I think you handled this shot well from beginning to end. The background matches the plumage; all is sharp; you got close. Congratulations.

    Thank you for all the tips! I cleaned that darned dust bunny and tried to selectively sharpen the eye some. Any better?
