Congratulations Andrew Aveley!!! Wildlife IOTW for the week ending 9/10/2010: Leopard

    1. My First post as a member on BPN .On a recent trip to Sabi Sands in the Greater Kruger area of South Africa , I photographed this young male leopard on patrol of his territory. We anticipated he would take this short path into the open of a fire break before moving back into the cover of a thicket. I was rewarded with a few frames of this head on view. It was late afternoon with overcast sky s.

    ISO 1000 , F4 , Canon 1dMK3 , 300 F2.8 L , Monopod with Wimberley Head

PP included USM and basic levels and NR.

Missed this first time round as I was out of Internet reach, not often you get a Leopard in this sort of interesting pose.

    Congratulations
