This IR image was taken at a friend's Thoroughbred farm. I started with Nik Silver Efex High Structure, then slight Glamour Glow, took it back into Nik Efex Pro B&W Conversion. I'm not sure if the foreground tree on the right is distracting but I couldn't move to my left to exclude it. I'll be interested to see what you all think:)

    Thanks for looking.

Beautiful image Cheryl. The FG tree doesn't bother me at all. The water leads me right through the image. The second tree in the center seems a bit bright with slightly less detail than the others, but that may be the IR effect. All in all, another image that's a pleasure to look at. Great work!

In a perfect world you'd have that tree in the FG just a bit more to the side...but we never get the perfect world, do we?

Lovely IR, image, Cheryl. I wish that FG tree didn't put such a shadow on the water below it but then again it does put a dark area in the LRC with the brightest area in the ULC so it does balance it out pretty well.

Cheryl, I think it's lovely. The IR looks right for this scene. I think that the tree on the right wouldn't of kept me from taking this image. Nicely processed. It looks like a dream.

This is a gorgeous scene and your processing is really nice. It really sparkles. BTW your IR images look much better than most I've seen around the web.

Nice crispness in this image. The tree balances the composition. Did you try lightening it?

Beautiful. Agree with others re FG tree. It actually adds, to my eye, depth of field and thus a good dimension.

Thanks everyone for your comments and suggestions. I appreciate them all!

Judy, thanks so much. I honestly haven't looked on the web for any IR images. There are several professional photographers in town who've been doing IR for years and I subconsciously compare mine to theirs. (And I have some work to do:o)

Hi Cheryl, I really like this IR effect on this image. The tree on the right looks fine to me. Very nicely done.
