    What a cute little fella! Nice eye, and I like the partial yellow eyering. Sharp, and well exposed. Interesting water ripples, but to me the ones behind the bird are a bit distracting. A lower angle, if at all possible, would have helped with that by throwing the BG more OOF. I would also prefer to see half the space below and double above (or raising your camera a bit at time of capture). Still a very cute image of this happy-looking individual:)

    Nice capture of this little guy, Stuart. Techs all excellent. I agree with Daniel about the BG ripples being a bit distracting. The reflections of the bulrush also make the BG a bit busy, particularly in the URC. Also agree that it could use a little more room at the top.
