    Default Brooks Falls in B&W

A favorite, little known waterfall on the Magnetawan River near Huntsville, Ontario. Converted the original to B&W using Silver Efex Pro. This was shot in spring when the river was flowing at its best.

    Look forward to comments.

Andrew, Beautiful composition and the flow of the water is lovely. I like the tonal range.

Andrew, Nice image. I like the flow and especially like the fg rocks and ferns:)

I like the diagonals in the comp. Agree on the tonal range of the image. Well Done.

What a beautiful image, Andrew! I really love the conversion but thought it felt a little long on the left side for some reason. I recropped it taking your 8x11 to a 7x10, taking a small piece off the left and bottom. It's just a suggestion but it feels more balanced now to me.

Lovely silky water, contrasting with the rough rocks. I think Jules' crop is an improvement. Nice job.

Like the original, for some reason.

But wonder about the color version? :D:D

Thanks for the kind words folks, very much appreciated.

Julie, I like your crop, it works well like that too. Thanks for the suggestion.

Mark, I will post the color version in the Landscape forum soon.
