    Subbu:

Neat action here, it always amazes me they can fly and eat at the same time.
Interesting how the top of the rear wing is shaded. Is this from clouds, another bird?
Because of his attention down towards the fish, I don't think you need as much space to the right as you would if he was flying that way.
The darker areas look a little bit noisy. Was the exposure brought up in post? Large crop?

Hope you have some more from this series.

    Cheers

    Randy

Interesting pose and action, Subbu. Perhaps the image would benefit from some NR . . .

Thanks for bringing up an interesting observation Randy. The shade on upper potion is due to cloud coverage. This is almost a full frame shot. But by mistake my exposure settings were wrong, hence I had to boost the brightness in PP. That's the reason for that noise. Agree on Cropping too. Will work on that tonight and do a re-post.

    Thanks for commenting..

Subbu, I hope he remembers to flap his wings when taking a bite from his meal, he could fall out the sky.;) I agree, trying a vertical crop will work, and maybe try a touch of NR on the wings.

Ditto comments and suggestions above, and I agree with you about the eye - as is it just looks like a hole. Awesome mid-flight feeding behaviour, and I like the rich colour of the plumage.

Here comes the re-post with Vertical Crop. I feel this looks better. Your C&C are most welcome.

I prefer the original post. Since the bird is taking off with his prey, there is no need for that much space below. Otherwise a powerfull image although the bird is flying just a bit away from you.
