Default Back from Bosque - Crissal Thrasher

Obviously when anyone thinks of Bosque the "big three" come to mind (Snow and Ross's Geese and Sandhill Cranes). For me though I was just as excited to get after some of the really cool other birds down there such as this beautiful Crissal Thrasher. I guess that is the birder in me

    All the best!

    Glenn,
I agree with you in that there are so many other smaller birds to photograph that sometimes we miss the forest for the trees.
Love your image! Nice composition and pose. I really like the mesquite perch. Congratulations!

Perfect! Beautiful bird, great angle (head and looking over the back), thorny branch with green, and sweet background.

It was very nice of him to lower his tail so that it would be in the depth of field! :D
