Default Bonaparte 's Gull dorsal view

I was lucky enough to be above the gulls at a Northern CA lake and captured this image. It is near full frame. Converted with NX2, PP'ed in CS3, NR and Sharpened with Noiseware Pro. I wish for a little more DOF for the wingtips and that shadow line on the side isn't the greatest thing either:(. I left the double eye shine because it is natural:D. C&C Welcome.

Good dorsal view Dan, and I like the overall exposure and colour of the water.

Beautiful gull with topside view and great background. Did you lighten up the shadow beneath the wing?

Thanks all. Bill, no I did not lighten the shadow. The bird was flying fairly low over the water and the sun was reflecting up, lightening the underside of the bird and creating the double eye shine.

Dan, Beautiful topside view. The BG is dreamy. I may have put the bird a bit more to the right if it were mine, but it is a wonderful image as is.:)
