    Default Sanderling???

Shot at Surfside Beach, Freeport, Texas. I am not sure if this is a Sanderling or a western sandpiper. Any help in the identification is appreciated.
I had to rotate the horizon slightly. Comments and critiques are always welcome.

Bhushan, this looks like a Sanderling to me.
Love that catchlight. Gorgeous light and very nice exposure. Wish for a less distracting fg.
I would like to see the image bigger.

Lovely Snap of the Sanderling. I prefer the cleaner and bigger repost to the original.

Love the repost, Bhushan. The highlights/oof objects immediately above and to the right of the bird could perhaps toned down a bit too?

I really like the light in this, and the raised foot adds interest. The repost with the changes works so well. Well done.
